Its a Massively Multiplayer Online Trading Card Game.
I know that sounds kind of odd, but once I was introduced to it and got through all the crappy tutorials and got past the horrible animations, it was ok. Each game consists of four 4 minute maximum rounds, where in you pick a card and allot a certain number of "pillz" to the card. Each pill is a separate attack against the other card. (i.e. My card has 4 attack, add a pill and thats 8 attack. 2 Will give you 12 and so on.)
Each card has 4 unique things to the card. The attack, the power, the bonus and the ability. Attack is how much damage you're going to be putting up against your opponents card. Who will win the round is decided by who has the highest attack at the end of the round. Ties are strange in this game, I have yet to be able to figure out who wins a tie yet. I've won my fair share for no reason, while lost a good for for no reason as well. Anyways, now on to power. Power is the attack against the players health. You start out each game with 12 health and the point is to have the highest health by the end of it all. That part is pretty straight forward, highest attack wins round, after round is won power is subtracted from players health. The interesting part of the game lies within the cards specific abilities and bonuses. Abilities and Bonuses are not mutually exclusive, many cards I've had have had +2 attack bonuses and +8 attack abilities, but the do have their own specific traits. An ability is usually something that will effect the opponent. It is not odd to see "-3 opponent attack, min 2." What that means is that if the opponent has a minimum of 2 attack, he lose 2 attack off of his damage pool. Bonuses are usually something along the lines of the regular "+8 to attack" or "+8 to power", although higher cards can carry much more ranged to their upgrades.
Sadly, I have not made it too high yet into the game. I can only give you the noobies perspective on it, but isn't that the best perspective to get before you start a game? The page layout is nice, everything is big and clickable and shiny. If you find yourself, unmonitored, in front of a computer screen every day with nothing to do. I highly recommend this game to you. You have 4 minutes to choose your card, so you can alt tab it till the time is right. Also! Have I-phone? Will travel! Urban-Rivals comes on an app on the I-phone. Nifty.

Mexico Drug Wars
Zapata, Texas (CNN) -- Mexican authorities are expected to continue their search Thursday for an American man reported to have been killed by pirates on a lake that straddles the U.S.-Mexico border.
Rolando Flores, lead investigator for the Tamaulipas state police, said that Mexican troops and sailors are taking part in the search.
"There are about 30 people, including agents from the National Defense and Mexican navy, Flores said Wednesday. "We will be using helicopters" and personal watercraft.
But Mexican authorities ended their search for the day before dusk, fearing an ambush by the drug cartels who largely control the area, according to Zapata County, Texas, Sheriff Sigifredo Gonzalez Jr.
Tiffany Hartley reported that gunmen in three boats approached her and her husband last week and shot her husband, David Hartley, 30. He fell off his personal watercraft into Lake Falcon, she said.
Mexico's Foreign Ministry on Wednesday said authorities were intensifying efforts to locate David Hartley's body. Mexican authorities have been in contact with their American counterparts and will continue to be, the ministry said in a statement.
"The government of Mexico condemns any act that attempts on the life of innocent citizens and reiterates its commitment to investigate the facts," the statement said.
In a CNN interview Tuesday afternoon, Hartley's mother, Pam Hartley, choked back tears as she pleaded with Mexican authorities to allow American volunteers to join the effort.
"What I hear is that Mexico will not let us go over there," she said. "They don't have the resources to do a thorough search."
Does any of this really scare anyone else? I have no real problem with illegal immigration, and I know this doesnt pertain to that too much, but the drug wars in Mexico are stretching into the US.
What is everyones views on what SHOULD happen in Mexico. I know these cartels have the power, but should America step in to clean it up, or did we already use that card in Iraq (See how that goes)

:::Thing Theory:::: Miniatures, Part II: "Since people seemed to like the last installment, I shall continue. Those last two miniatures were (from left to right) a Cerebrilith and a ..."
Definitely a blog to follow.
Great creatures :D
On a side note...
I definitely woke up sick today, which is not a pleasant thing to roll out of bed with.
Had to trek over to class, which was nicer than usual. The net was down so the prof just gave up about half way through and sent us home early, but ill be laying in bed today. I was hoping to maybe get some hw done but it looks like the pc calls me.
The side note? Some kid in San Antonio killed himself. Its causing an uproar in the area, also because there is going to be "shootings" on Oct 12th. Where does this all stem from? Some small sect of "werewolves" to combat those Twilight vampires are going to get revenge by either killing themselves or others on the bullies that made this chick commit suicide....or something like that. Either way, what should be done about these kids?
Whats everyones views, all though I have no followers I hope whoever reads this first has a response.
